The poem was written especially for this object, both in response to the photograph, and in the knowledge it would be printed on a notebook.
This notebook is made for for Salts Mill by Seawhite, a British company based in West Sussex, who make the acid-free, extra strength paper that has been used by most of the UK's leading artists and designers over the last 35 years.
