The Story
This set of six History of Art Coasters is based on a whimsical illustration created by Donald Seitz in 1991 which outlines the history of art with smiley faces appropriately altered in the styles of famous artists. The artists in MoMA's collection represented in these History of Art Coasters include Mark Rothko, Claude Monet, Salvador DalÃ, Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso and Jackson Pollock. Made of laminated MDF with polypropylene coating and velveteen backing, these art coasters wipe clean and are great conversation starters at your cocktail parties.
